GU JJ Watt Jersey Question

I was recently given a 2012 JJ Watt Houston Texans game used jersey. My question is, the tagging inside the jersey has 12 numbers on the Nike tag. Does anyone know what these numbers mean?

It represents a serial number that is unique to the jersey. I have not learned that they are anything more than randomly (or sequentially) generated. I'd be interested in hearing more if my understanding is incorrect.
