I did see it. Johnson only played for the team in 84, so it's not an 83/84. It's missing a patch they used in 84, but if the price is right, seems ok.

Is it possible that since Johnson only played 3 games in 84 that the Chargers recycled an 83 shirt, hence no patch?

FYI- I found a Chargers publication recapping the 84 preseason, including photos of the game. The preseason jerseys also had the 25th anniversary patch. So that eliminates choice #3.
