....inscription 700, as in $700 total? Or 500 for the auto and then an additional 700 for insc??

Been a while since I got a quote from Steiner on Jeter auto but if I remember correctly I'm certain its 700 extra. He doesn't do them often but when he does he collects

So glad I got my 2014 pitched ball in the dirt to Jeter and my cervelli jersey from jeter's 3000 hit game signed for free by jeter at fenway. No way would I ever pay $500 plus for his auto.

I got a quote last week from their Send It In guy and was told it would be $575 for a ball.

Might want to check this thread and contact this guy but it might be too late to get this pricing as today was the last day to send it in.

$700 for the inscription is in addition to the auto. So an auto and inscription is $1200. Jeter dislikes inscriptions... alot

Too much bro too much, I got a painting signed years ago and it cost me $700 I don't want to know what they would try and rob us for now.

I asked my wife if we could get a second mortgage on the condo to pay for a signed Jeter baseball. She was not happy with the suggestion.:D :p ;)

Why don't you all just buy from this seller on eBay?

Seems like a good idea to me as I've already bought one photo from him...

I have an on field pass for Rays vs. Yankees in Tampa Bay on 9/16/14 for half that cost, while it doesn't guarantee a Jeter auto, the chance of getting it is hugewith being on the field and in the stadium before anyone else is there.

Lol, well then, at least they're only charging 700, because 725 would just be outrageous.

Thanks guys...

Prices charged have just gone up. Steiner now charges $600 for a Jeter signature!

Last year I was quoted 600 to sign a bat and an extra 300 for inscription bug the only insc he would sign was "3000 hits". I passed.

on the topic of Inscriptions...why do athletes not like doing inscriptions?

Not all athletes hate it. Some have no issues with it.
