Up for sale is a Xander Bogaerts Louisville Slugger M110 bat. Bat is two-tone in color, with a cherry colored handle and a dark brown barrel, gold writing / stripe / logo.
Per the MLB Authentication this bat is a team issued bat, however, the bat is hammered with use including a high handle crack, paint / logo transfers, pine tar, dirt / scuffs / etc. The Red Sox generally err on the side of caution when labeling their GU stuff, so my assumption is that this bat could not be pinned to a specific game, so it was labeled as 'issued' vs. 'game used'. So this bat could be a gem if someone is able to photo match it to a game, and there are plenty of Getty pictures out there to work with. I honestly don't have the patience!
