I won these as a part of a larger lot, and it turned out that one of the items (a 1999 Mets team signed ball) has some CH signatures on it. Anyway, the AH has agreed to take the lot back, but I'm seeing shipping as being somewhat prohibitive. (It would cost me $60 to send the lot back, give or take.)
All that said, if I can sell these four bats for $500 shipped, I'd feel comfortable holding onto the lot. If I can't, however, I'll return the lot for about a 28% loss (shipping both ways).
So, here are the bats:
Edgardo Alfonzo 1999-2000 Louisville Slugger R205 "FONZIE" (cupped)
Matt Franco Rawlings 1998(?) name stamping worn away 155B (cupped)
John Olerud Rawlings 1997 name stamping worn away 433B
Robin Ventura 1999-2000 Louisville Slugger T141 (cupped)
All bats have player number on knob and barrel end. Franco bat year code is 68, which I'm guessing is a mark for 1998 and not 1999.
I didn't notice cracks on any of the four bats, so I'm assuming all are uncracked.
Again, $500 shipped for all four bats to anywhere in the US. I would need to sell them tonight or tomorrow, otherwise they're getting returned.
