Re: November 2014 Pickups
Portland Sea Dog had their 2nd annual Yard sale and I picked up some great stuff. Game used jersey from their "Field of Dreams" game and also the mascots jersey from their affiliation with the Marlins, a Bryce Brentz alternate jersey, various stadium signs, and also the banner that hung in the stadium for 8 years celebrating the 2006 Eastern League Championship. -

Re: November 2014 Pickups
This doesnt fall under game used category - but it is just too cool not to share, no?
PS. I traded a couple Yankees gamers to get it. And the story behind it, less than 100 in existence and only Jeter's inner circle getting one. And the best part, Jordan got his and he opened it!Comment

Re: November 2014 Pickups
While it was purchased to flip, I was pleasantly surprised with a baseball I purchsed on eBay. The description was basically "Official game-used MLB basebll sealed in cube", or words to that nature. I got it at a nice price. It came in, unsealed it from the cube, and was delighted to learn that it wasn't just a standard MLB baseball...it was one of the Opening Day versions with the silver print and logos on it. THAT was fun.

Re: November 2014 Pickups
That was the same question I asked before purchasing it. It's all original. The pictures make it look perfect but in hand you can see light use or storage marks. It's not one of those crappy remakes that guy on ebay was faking.
Here's a photo of Powell with a similar helmet that looks pretty good too. The Orioles had no rhyme or reason to their helmets as far as I can tell. Powell is wearing an older style in this photo and it looks great. Not sure who is in the back of Powell but he is wearing the later style cartoon Oriole and it's all scratched up.Comment
