This photo of Mark Malone from 1988 seems to be a solid style match. How about the FOUTS nameplate? Good?

The Fouts jersey doesn't have a nameplate. The letters are sown on to the jersey.

True - and 1988 was the first year for the navy/white bolt style.

So unless this was an "over the street clothes" jersey for some event at the stadium it wouldn't even be game issued.
