I think it does!
With that said, in that era there were a lot of Helton jerseys to hit the market and that's why you see so many with little no wear on the wash tags. It appears that one has a some wear.
It's interesting that in 02 he would wear so many, but in 06 he only had two black vests which was a staple jersey for them that year. I have one of two and its absolutely hammeredAlways looking for Noah Syndergaard, Charlie Blackmon, Jordan Pacheco & Kenneth Faried items, thx! -

I concur that the photos show what is almost certainly a gamer.
The 2002 gamers had the 10 year team patch (as this one does) and, in the early 2000s, while the Rockies usually had detailed tagging, the year of issue usually wasn't a part of it.
