Any ideas on what this Sand Knit Kosar jersey is?

Is this just a store bought replica jersey? I spent some time looking at it and went through Getty Images and didn't see anywhere during Kosar's time that they wore screen print.

    Thanks

The Browns never wore that particular style during Kosar's tenure in Cleveland. The sleeve stripes seen on your jersey were last worn in 1983. After wearing a one-year style in 1984, the Browns reverted to their classic 1950s/1960s style on their white durene jerseys in 1985 when Kosar arrived. The orange and brown stripes on those jerseys are "touching" with no white "gaps" (thin white stripes) in between the colored stripes.

Other issues include the numbers which were sewn onto the white jerseys when Kosar was in Cleveland, and the Browns did not screen the lettering directly on the back of jerseys in that era as they used nameplates. During Kosar's years, the lettering was sewn onto the nameplate.

This is probably not what you were hoping to hear, but I hope this information is helpful.
