NFL 1994 75th Anniversary jerseys question.

The seller claims he bought the jersey as a Pre-season worn jersey from the 1994 season. The 75th Anniversary patch varies from every other exemplar I have seen in that the years 1920-1994 have been added (it doesn't look aftermarket either)

Has anyone seen this/ own a jersey with this style patch before or have photos of the patch on an actual game used jersey? Just seemed like something that might be of value to collectors in the future to either date a 1994 season gamer as Preseason or as a knockoff/ incorrect patch.

Also, this seems to show the same patch from the jersey I posted and says the dates were September through December that the NFL honored the 75th anniversary:

No dates on Marino's patch or any other patches I looked at for the season.

The seller of this jersey also sold another Dolphins jersey with that same style 75th patch with the white datings on both sides. It is shown in his items sold if you look at his feedback. Concerning the regular 75th anniversary patches used in 1994, they had a hidden 3 letter code on the number 7 for the authentic patches worn in NFL games. HAY was sewn into the number and hard to detect. But that ones on the Mitchel and Ness were shown and pretty obvious to see. I do not see the 3 letter code on that white date version where it should be.

I was very curious about his jersey when he had it listed earlier as I could find no matches for the patch either. Thanks for posting the question and hopefully someone will have some info on this specific patch. If it is a total reproduction or actually some sort of preseason patch as he claims. Good to learn about the hidden HAY.

The stitching on the NFL patch just doesn't seem right. The 75th Anniversary patches are not sew like a normal regular 75th anniversary patch that carries the HAY on the number 7 when compared to actual game worn ones from 1994. Also here is the other Dolphins patch on the jersey the seller had previously sold. The only place I have found that patch style is on Ebay, so far.
