Help: Display case for Game-Used Hat

I'm looking to display a game used MLB hat and was curious what you guys did with yours? I was thinking something along the lines of an acrylic or glass case that could sit on a desk, or could be mounted on the wall. I haven't found any cases specifically for hats yet that I like. I've seen some of the more "fitted" cases that have the shape of hats but I'd like the hat to be able to breathe more - maybe in some cube-like shape.

    Thanks for the help.

I have two of these from Caseworks that I like a lot. Not cheap, but you can search around and find them cheaper than the one in the link below.

    Cheers,

I have a couple of Caseworks jersey frames and I've been very happy with them. They are pricey ($300ish with UV glass) but all quality display cases are expensive. I will say that the Caseworks displays I have definitely look to be higher quality than they actually are though. By that I mean, the backs are injection molded plastic and the wood frame while nice looking has a plasticy feel to it. I have been wanting to order the 4 hat case shown in the catalog I linked below. The single case may be a good option for you.

Like cliffjmp33 said, shopping around is your friend with these cases. I was able to save over a hundred dollars on my jersey cases by shopping around.

So I decided to finally buy a case for one of my game used gloves and I wanted a wall mount style. I have never heard of "Perfect Cases" before but the prices on epicsports.com are fantastic. $49 for a wall mounted hat display with a cherry finish. For whatever reason the cherry finish is the cheapest option roughly $10 cheaper than a black or walnut version. Works great for me because everything in my man cave including the Caseworks jersey displays are finished in cherry. Definitely worth a look!

If I had to guess, I'd say black would be the most, as it is the least likely to draw attention to itself. Second *might* be the blonde, as it would match many furniture/shelving systems. It's probably a supply/demand concern.

On a side note, I find it funny that they "airbrushed" the C off the cap, since it still shows up in the mirror and glass reflections.

Not sure if you can see on the photo, but I made custom hat/helmet stands with PVC pike crazy glued to a 4"x4" plexiglass base, had them cut at Lowe's and then I spray painted them black. Works pretty nice
