Anyone know much about Johnny Mize Game Used?

I know this is a card, but was wondering if anyone could tell me if they actually ever spelled his name as Johnnie instead of Johnny. May be a dumb question, but I can't find anything on it, only can find J. Mize.

If anyone can shed some light on it, that'd be great!

I don't recall ever seeing Mize sign anything other than "Johnny", but what you've got there is part of a name tag from a uniform, where it could hvae conceivably happened.

Don't Panini cards fetch much less than UD or Bowman counterparts? That said, I can't see that card being worth much more than $75 or so.

Interesting enough there was a pitcher named "Johnnie" Chambers who played with the 1937 Cardinals the same year Johnny Mize was there.

Mize's 1939 jersey has only "J. Mize" chain stitched into the tail.
