I've read through the threads discussing the fact that in the 1970's you could order a major league jersey for a specific player from Stall & Dean and it would be identical to the jerseys the teams got, right down to the tagging. My question is, could you order a jersey for a player who was no longer with the team? Could you order a Reggie Jackson A's jersey in 1977? If so, would it be tagged 1977? Could you order an earlier style jersey later - say a 1972 A's style jersey (gold with white logo and numerals, front numbers) in later years? If that question has already been covered, I apologize. Thanks.
