I finally got some photos of this bat. Again, I don't know why its so thin. Almost like a stick ball bat. You can barely fit the Louisville Slugger label. Are all C324's this thin?

Ya know I had a Clark bat at one time, don't remember the model, but I do remember thinking it looked thin too. It was a legit gamer. For what it's worth..

I asked Jack once why he used such a thin bat. He said George Hendrick turned him on to the M253 model, a very thin bat. George said it's all about bat speed, and you can get small bats around faster. I'm guessing the C324 was based on the M253 with some customization requested by Clark (even thinner?) -- the "C" in C324 probably stands for "Clark."

Jeff, as I was halfway through your response I was thinking the same thing that the C was for him. Thank you for sharing that. On a previous inquiry about this bat, Mike Specht mentioned that Clark, only in 1992, ordered 47 C324's. So yes, it appears that Jack was looking for some bat speed at the end of his career, believing his eyes were still sharp enough to hit it square.
