What year?

Last one I saw an early 80's white gamer went for over 2,000 but that was back in 2011 via auction.

is there a way to tell the year? I saw that auction too. Do you think its still worth around the same? More? Less?

Hi Mad87man,

I can help. Can you tell me more about the jersey?

Is it a white or blue? Does it say NEW YORK down the front (blue) or RANGERS (white) and is mesh? Or is it duress with a Rangers shield on the front?

Does it have a name on back (it should if its white, it might or might not if its blue, depending on season).

There are a lot of variables to what you have, but if it is a game-worn Rangers Fotiu it is very valuable. Far more valuable than $2,000. And if it is photo matched, it is likely worth at least $5,000.

Barry the jersey comes with a story and was given straight from Nick. Here are some pictures of it. It does show use and has a tear on it and also a loop or some kind of tag that hooks up to equipment?

Size 58 is interesting. I have not seen many from that era of Rangers jerseys that big.

How does the rest of it look?

I have only owned 2 Rangers Game worn sweaters. All are from the 80's. The largest size I have seen would be a 52. I have never seen one tagged 54, 56 or 58.

Most are a 44, 46, 48 and 50.

Who knows though. Barry would be able to give you better info as he has seen more jerseys than most.
