    Bryan Pena's Batting Helmet Question

So being collector's we notice the little things about equipment. Well watching the Brewers/Reds game I noticed Pena gets to wear a double flap old style helmet. Why is this? Choo used to wear a double flap, but when they started the new extra protection helmet he went to a single flap.

They must not make the new style in a double flap version, but even then I am shocked they allow Pena to go out there with the lower quality helmet.

      Older style I assume?

I just quick looked up some pictures and it showed him with the single flap
