circa-1930's BABE RUTH (Game Used?) Brass Locker Tag

Hey guys... My uncle gave me a circa-1930s Babe Ruth locker tag that I am hoping someone can help provide me information with... From the info I found online, I don't think theyre game used but it seems the pricing is scattered...Does anyone have any history in dealing with these?

Feel free to shoot me an email at Orange7Crush77@yahoo.com

I think I read about something similar to what you are describing, possibly in last year's Babe Ruth Goldin Auction or here on GUU. Good luck!

There about a dozen or so around. It seems they were passed out as mementos by the Yankees or maybe even Babe himself up into the '40's. But I have never seen any evidence that these were actually used as a locker tag, especially since the players name and number already appear in big print on the locker.
