Hi all,
I need a bit of help tracking an LVS bat model to Jason Kendall.
The model of the bat is a Pittsburgh Pirates issue LVS R161 with a date range of pre-1997.
I am a Kendall collector (with approximately 7 G/U bats) and I'm not familiar with him ever using this model in MLB. He customarily used an M110 in his Pirate days and an H238 during his time with the A's, Cubs, Brewers and Royals - these models all included his branded signature.
The LVS R161 in question is two-tone mahogany (barrel) and rose-wood (handle) and includes "Jason Kendall" in block lettering (not signature form, making me think that this COULD be a minor league issue bat).
Can anyone please help me in tracking this model if it was indeed issued to him?
