I notice Vic's pine tar is really dark, and not all gooey like most. He also applies it very precisely in a real straight pattern. I know some guys apply with a pad, then use a rosin bag to take some of the goo off. Anyone know what kind of tar Vic uses? I've watched a few youtubes on applying tar, kind of interesting. Plus there was one where Bryce Harper takes a sniff of the tar. It does smell kind of good. Thanks for any comments.
