My new teammate

I was at one of my games this season and saw my manager wearing an 86 World Series ring. Now I know he was not a member of the 86 Mets and later found out one of teammates was not as a player but was the assistant equipment manager for the team. I was wondering why he was using a Ron Darling bat at practice once and now I know. Needless to say this is exciting and though the season is over I hope he plays again in the fall so I can pick his brain and hear some great stories!
