Frank Robinson Bat Question

I just picked up this Frank Robinson bat and was wondering if anyone had any information on it. It is marked R161 on the knob so does this mean it was a game model bat or a professional model? Anyone know what the value would be? Are these hard to come by or pretty common? Any help would be greatly appreciated it.

By virtue of the "registered" symbol next to the Louisville Slugger wording, I suspect that this may be a show model bat from the late 1980's...
