non-tagged Game Jersey?

Picked up a Montana jersey that was advertised as a "game jersey" and the seller informed me that it was worn in 89. Jersey is awesome looking and looks identical to the jersey pictured here: http://www.legendaryauctions.com/lot-29032.aspx# except there is no Wilson tag or any tagging on it for that matter. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing??

Seller told me I can refund my purchase if not satisfied but I figured I would check here first.
