Re: Bob Gibson cap
I cannot edit the previous post but just read the sticky in this subforum after posting so I will attempt to make sure I follow those guidelines with my follow up post.
Issue: It appears a #15 McCarver GU cap was at some point turned into a #45 cap based on the fact that I owned a #15 Ron Fairly cap and the 15 compared favorably but the line for the 4 appears much newer and for whatever reason, marked several times.
Seller: I do not feel the seller is trying to deceive, they likely got the cap as part of a collection of caps from someone to sell judging by their auction history so rather than contact the seller and potentially have a fiasco, I figured I would just post a cautionary thread. If this is against forum rules, feel free to delete.

Re: Bob Gibson cap
This seller has sold me fraudulent items before. There is little doubt in my mind that he knew exactly what he was doing here with this cap. I have a fake 3,500 jersey to prove it. If I am allowed to post the fake jersey here, let me know and I will. This guys has taken many collectors in this fashion. I have lots of information on him, LOTS!Comment
