I have an Adam Dunn D188 LVS that is pounded with use from his reds days. This bat is loaded with ball marks and seam impressions. It has a handle crack and all wood accounted for. $235 shipped.

Dunn could have stuck around for 500. A little enthusiasm for the game and some effort is about all it would have taken. He would have had to play for less $$. Walking away early cost him fans...ROBERT KOPPEL

Likely cost him fans and a shot at the hall (unless he were to become the only 500 hr member not in, which would have been an interesting situation to debate).Comment

Re: Adam Dunn Reds D188 Game Used bat.
I think his time in Chicago cut down his love of the game. The constant booing and never really getting much support did not help. I also think not playing in his only playoff game was a giant let down for him. I would have loved to see 500 but I would have hated to see him hang on just for the #. With the slowed bat speed he just didn't have it. He could have gotten it done in one more year but pending the situation it would likely taken him two. It's a shame because I felt he could have been a great option for the cardinals last year to platoon with Reynolds.Comment
