Auctioning the jersey off to help the flood victims of South Carolina. Already the most expensive college jersey ever sold at $40,000 at still little over 13 hours left. For refrence the most expensive college jersey sold had be $26,000 for a ND Paul Hornung.

That's a crazy price for a game worn jersey and two game worn helmets. I wonder if this will snowball for the NCAA and they will allow more game used items to be sold by current players.

Interesting that the winning bidder is "COACH". Not sure the winning bidder will come forward, but wouldn't be surprised if a highly-paid athletic department person was the winner. Or, maybe it's Hayden Fox.

People's willingness to help is deeply appreciated. My daughter's family, including our three little grandsons aged 6 and 5, barely escaped at 3 AM when a tiny creek, which they often waded across when it was low enough not to reach their ankles, amazingly turned into a raging river that ravaged their home. This has been called a "thousand-year event" that resulted from a freakish combination of weather conditions.

They have been helped by many wonderful folks, though there are many transitional stresses yet to face. But since a number of people died, we know how lucky we are in our family.

A big percentage will be a tax write off....if I was a millionaire and a big LSU fan I would have paid 100k too.
