    Vintage Hockey Goalie Masks

A favorite part of my collection is old goalie masks. I salute the players who found comfort from 100+ MPG slapshots in these thin pieces of fiberglass. I will post some of my favorites and welcome seeing others. I am always looking for more. I am especially looking for one made by Long Islander Ray Nagel who made masks for Cosby Sporting Goods and on his own in the 1970s.
First up in this early 1960's example made by Detroit Red Wings trainer Lefty Wilson.

This primitive pretzel mask was handmade by HHOF Jaques Plante for a 1950's teammate in Quebec.

This pretzel mask was commercially produced by the Sunrez company. Another 50 year old example.

A classic from the hand of Ernie Higgins, maker of some of the most famous professional masks of the 1970s. This one was never painted.

Not the best photo but this is mass produced mask from the Fibrosport mask. Jacques Plante had a financial stake in this company.

Recently added this 1960s mask. I'm told it is an early model from Fibrosport. Always looking for more! My contact info is in this thread.
