In the 90's did the Panthers ever wear Wilson jerseys?

I researched it and they appear to be Nike and Reebok. There was one sold from Mears a while back that was sold as a GW Panthers but was Wilson. I am looking at a jersey that is a Wilson that's advertised as GW but again haven't been able to verify them wearing them.

Any help would be awesome!

Do you have a link to the Wilson jersey?

I as well always thought they used Nike, then Reebok and then Nike again.

If you mean this jersey. This is a full blown retail jersey. A huge mistake by Mears marketing it as game worn.

That's the one.

It's currently on ebay cheap but still listed as GW

Actually the Panthers started out with APEX jerseys in the preseason of 1995 (similar to the the Patriots), but once the company folded their account was transferred over to Reebok for the next two seasons before moving over to Nike in 1997.

Wow I never knew they wore Apex as I have never seen one before. Do you have one? Would be interested to see one.

That ProLine tag should never appear on a Wilson-made gamer/team item. Some 1990s suppliers used ProLine tags, but Wilson was NOT one of them.

I thought the whole thing was off but the fact that it was on Mears threw me off

I learned long ago that not every auction company is spot on.

The only difference is that the good ones pull the bad items and the bad ones ignore any feedback from the game used community.
