Actually just picked up this beauty today, to start off a great 2016! It's Steven Strasburg's 2014 NLCS game used playoff jersey, which he used to pitch game #1 vs the Giants. MLB certified for the playoffs. Here it is:

1965-68 Steve Hovley used bat
2005-06 Vlad Guerrero used Angels bat

The Hovley bat is odd with tape on the handle and writing that I believe says...

"This bat is personal property of the Cincinnati Reds. This is a bat that only .001% of all the guys in the world would have a chance to use and because I am sure that the percentage of convincing you is .0000001 so because the percentages aren’t close I think this would be a bat for you to keep so that you could see if I was right or not. Love Dave"

Acquired this game used UTEP football jersey from the 1998 season. I plan to hang it on my wall in my office after having it signed as the player became a fellow dentist following college.

Finally found an affordable Jose Altuve Tucci Lumber signature model bat. This one was used early last year. This bat shows great use and looks amazing. After a long lull I was finally able to add a new item to the collection!

Finally, after years of searching, obtained an absolute grail item for me.
A game used Maryland football bowl jersey. This jersey was used in the 2013 Military Bowl against Marshall. I have never seen another one for sale. To add to it it is a very rare white ops jersey as you can see the Maryland flag shoulder prints. I'm so excited to get this in my collection. I actually have a pair of cleats and gloves to match this jersey to make it all the better. As always I am looking for any Maryland game used items. Email me at bigp4229@yahoo.com!

Congratulations on the Canucks Gamer! Those Canucks early to mid 90's jerseys are some om my favorite jerseys of all time. Sold my retail version a few years back which was from when I was in high school.... I've regretted it ever since! I would break the bank for a Bure gamer!!

A 2015 Jimmy Rollins L.A. Dodgers home jersey & pants MLB authenticated to the postseason. The jersey has more staining then I'd expect for a guy who only had 2 pinch hit appearances in the NLDS wearing this jersey. Even though he didn't play much the price was to good to pass up!

Birmingham Barons jersey, game used. Note the spelling of Birmingham, its missing an I, as in "BIRMNGHAM" on the front of the jersey...I thought it was a sort of cool unusual piece. I also, in the deal got a Chicago White Sox dugout jacket that the gentleman obtained while on staff with the Barons.

Ivan Rodriguez autographed game used catcher's mask. Provenance from the Texas Rangers equipment manager. I'm still trying to photomatch it but looks like it dates to the 96-97 seasons.

Assuming this is an S210 model the speculation is based on the timing of the order. From the Malta guide it looks like the 33" S210 model was ordered by Schoendienst only in 1958. I don't have the dates of the order(s), but if one or both were made in late September then it would certainly be possible that it was used in the World Series.

Ordering records. was shipped 4 bats on 9/22/58 for the WS. But because he was sick with what later was diagnosed as tuberculosis he ordered 3 inch shorter bats and was shipped 2 on the day of game 1-the S210 model. this bat is 3 inches shorter. His only other shipment of this model was end of December for 2 more bats. By that time he was in the hospital and would be for months. He didn't play again till late 1959. Red had 6 orders of bats shipped june 1959 till the date of his return which are bats he would have used during rehab. Thses bats would certainly show much more use as batting practice bats. this info is thanks to Jeff Scott of Birdbats

Picked up this Adrian Beltre game worn helmet with the bat. I believe this to be from 1999 or 2000, but I'm not for sure.

I believe his helmet size is 7 1/8.

Haven't had the free time to post any "monthly" pick-ups in quite some time. Here's a couple items I picked up this past week. I posted two of these in the Padres Pick-Up thread already but I'll post them again here.

First we have a Wil Myers game used Max Bat. MLB Authentic, cracked but solid and absolutely pounded with use. On top of that, I Photo matched it to career home run number 26.

Also, Tyson Ross game used jersey. MLB authentic as game used. Shows a lot of wear/use along with a nice remnant, all be it not over whelming, of Tyson's body odor.

Lastly, a guy I am huge on, Willson Contreras game used Tennessee Smokies Jersey. Willson is the number one catching prospect in all of MiLB. I was told Willson had a bad game and took it out on his jersey which is why the front buttons are ripped off. The jersey was also sewn on the sides to Contreras's preferred custom (slim) fit and patched back together so Willson could wear it for the rest of the road series.
