Brian, what kind are you looking for? There's a plethora out there. Are you looking for player models, world series models, decals, or all? Also what do you consider vintage pre 60's, 50's or earlier. As always ebay usually has a pretty good selection to choose from. Auction houses will usually have some of the higher end varieties.

I am primarily looking for vintage mini player models. I have checked ebay, but did not find much. If you can hook me up with different auction houses that would be cool.

Brian, you might start by searching Yahoo. I found a site that had some by typing in vintage mini bats. You might also try more specific searches such as Mickey Mantle mini bat. Mastronet auctions usually has some mini bats in them. They have an auction coming up soon so you might check there once the auction is up. Leland's has some from time to time as well.

Good Luck,

Ebay is the best source. I do see them in the Major auctions, but only if they are decal bats or have a nice pennant attached to them. They are widely collected. I see them often at antique shows and the National is loaded with them.

Just Louisville Slugger mini bats of past greats like Joe jackson, Ty Cobb, Honus Wagner, Roger Hornsby, Mel Ott, etc. I am trying to collect the 16" mini bats. Let me know if you got anything or if you know how to get some. Thanks!

I saw a LS mini bat in the store but you could barely make out the LS logo and nothing on the barrell.

I've been looking for a Wagner as well, but that auction makes me nervous. It looks a little "new" if you know what I mean. Zane Burns is a pretty good sized dealer, but I wonder if he would know if this is were a repro.

Mike, I'd say that Wagner bat is probably from the 40's-50's. I have a couple of mini bats that are in that condition and are dated on them. Here's a picture of a George Sisler bat from the 40's that's very similar.
