Superbowl Auction

Hi,

Any word on the Super Bowl auction? Its usually up for viewing by now and with NFL auction not having much this year I was interested in I'm crossing my fingers for some great items at the Super Bowl auction.

It will be up this week I was told by Hunt. NFL auctions really really went down hill. They supposedly changed their system or hired new people to always be there but they didn't post anything

Are they just taking their time putting jerseys up? Or is there less available for sale this year?

I've only see 3 jerseys each from the Chiefs and Lions from the London game.

Hunt's twitter page on 1/7 said this week the auctions would be posted the week of 1/11.... we will see.

this is not a good year for NFL jerseys. hardly anything coming up on the market. It went from flooded in the JO sports time to now with nothing,

The NFL and how it handles game used stuff is like a horrible car crash. No matter how ugly it is you can't help but watch it.

I do know that Andy Dalton's jersey from his 1st ever successful "Hail Mary" (any level) will be in the Super Bowl auction.

Now that the auction has been posted what does everyone think? There are some great items, but overall I've found it a little dissappointing for game used items.

My collection is focused on the International Series games in London which have always been quite readily available between Hunt and NFLAuctions, but something has changed this year. There have only been 7-8 Chiefs, 5-6 Jets and 3 Lions. By now there would usually have been 3 or 4 times the number of auctions and covering all 6 teams.

There are some Gayle Sayers awards but most are meh...

I have always wanted one of the issued pro bowl jerseys and there are some lower end game used jersey that I wouldn't mind if the stayed near the "estimate" price, but I am sure prices will be way too high for me to rationalize.

Years was a lot better. I'm an eagles fan and only 2 eagles gamers... Very upset about that.

Agreed - not impressive considering the lame year with NFL Auctions.

However, some unbelievable Colt's jerseys that will likely get crazy $$$

Speaking of International Series. This came in tonite from Chiefs lions game from this year.
