I'm going to ExposFest in April and the players are signing any item do I'm bringing some stuff. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the best type of pen to use on each? I don't want to ruin the items and I assume there's good and bad pens for diff items.
-black bat
-H&B brown bat
-blue jersey (not mesh)
-blue expos helmets
- tricolour expos helmet
- ball

I always use Deco Paint Pens ...

Deco paint pens work best on dark items in my opinion. I prefer the fine point silver. Dick Blick has good prices on them.

I like gold on a bat like your brown barreled H&B. The Art Deco paint pen or even gold sharpie. I'd do silver on the rest of what you have pictured.

I also have the option of bringing this mesh BP jersey to get signed....do you guys think it would look good if I had them sign the white portion of the crest? then I could add the chest number of whoever I get to sign it after I get the signature...or is the space too tiny for a good looking sig? I assume sharpie is good on vinyl type material or whatever it's made of...
