    ebay item!

for the ones that know since i don't, how can i get in touch with someone that bought something they thought was legit but isn't? i was emailing back and forth for a while with the seller explaining the validity of his item and even showed proof. he still kept it listed and it seems to have sold. i want to contact the buyer to let them know that the item they bought is not legit.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure there is a way. I wish you could because there are a few buyers I'd like to contact as well.

If the buyer also sells, find one of their auctions and contact them through the listing.

i have been told that ebay changes the letter when they show the high bidders to protect their identity - the s and a wouldnt be what the real name has. i dont think it is possible to figure out. i would contact ebay and maybe they can help put you in touch with the buyer.

You could check the sellers feedback and see if you can spot the buyer that way.
