Does anyone know the value of a Ricky henderson cooper bat with minimal to no use? He spells his name without the E.

If I recall a couple years ago a game used Cooper like the one pictured sold. I think it was from his later years.

Ok thanks I saw those but they were so far apart in price I could t figure out actual market value. I guess around 150$ since that 14000$ hasn't sold :)

Actually was the year for that auction 2007? If so, I tend to think price would be more in 2016. But I honestly don't know...maybe it's stayed the same but I would think HOF boosts value.

In All Honesty The HOF does not add to the value. In very few instances have i witnessed a huge jump in a players price because he was voted into the hall of fame. It sounds crazy but for obvious reasons it's pretty true.

While it's not a certainty, I'd consider Rick the Quick's tenure with the Blue Jays as a starting point to research the time frame of the bat. Cooper is a Canadian company, and in that era, many, if not most Expos and Blue Jays players were supplied at least some bats by Cooper.

Dave,

That's what I thought as well, almost all the big names using cooper seemed to be an expo or jay. However I saw an auction where a noted authenticator dated the same model bat to his Yankee days around when cooper first came out. I guess there's no way to tell right?

True. Starting point, yes...set in stone, no.
