Just figured I'd post this here in case anyone is seriously considering buying this jersey:
At first glance it seemed that the $5k price tag wasn't bad for a 2005 Peyton home gamer, until I found the original auction for the jersey through Mears:
Clearly the person who bought it is just trying to make a quick flip on it by using Probstein. Maybe I'm in the minority here, but it irks me when I see flips as extreme as this. It's one thing to buy a jersey for $2,000 and then try to sell it for $4,000, but to sell a $600 jersey for $5,000?
