Team Debut Jersey value?

Hello, all. Been reading this forum for a while and really enjoy the community. First time poster. I was curious of your collective opinion - do you think there is a premium added to a jersey's value if it was worn in the first game that the team issued that style? Thanks in advance for all opinions!

No...I've seen a lot of premium paid for 1st game of season jerseys, but, they dont hold the value...first game or middle of year game, who really cares..depends on what happens in the game, not when it is played during the regular season...
