Hi Guys,

I recently picked up a very nice Billy Kamm game used bat from the 1920's. The bat is 34-1/2 inches long and weighs around 36.5 ounces.

Are there any Kamm factory records that I can match this bat to? Also, I've searched the Internet and cannot find any other Kamm game used bats. Is anyone aware of another Kamm gamer?

Thanks,
Kevin Kasper

Hi Kevin

Unfortunately we do not have Willie Kamm's personal shipping records....... Pre 1935 non-HOF'ers shipping records are a rarity...Thanks for asking.

Mike,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I'll keep looking for any other Kamm gamers that might exist, and sure would appreciate a heads-up from other collectors if they know of any.

Thanks to Clint (ksfarmboy) for providing research of a side-written Bill Kamm bat in Dec 2001 Mastro auction (lot 935) that had the bat at 35 inches / 34.5 oz... The bat had mid-1920's labeling.

Thanks Mike and Clint,

Your help/info is much appreciated. This is a perfect example of why I am a paid member of GUU - collectors helping collectors.

Does anybody out there have the old Mastro catalog that lists this bat? If possible, I sure would like a scan of the item description as well as the final price.

Thanks,
Kevin Kasper
