I'm realizing this isn't the best look for displaying; the 2016 tucked in white tail. Then again you're going to need quite the display cabinet to show the whole of this size 56 Majestic pinstripe.

The last expo! What was purpose of these again? Was it just to mess with the counterfeit market? -
Re: 2016 jersey blank tucked-in bottom/side
In the event a jersey rises above the belt line, won't it look ridiculous? But isn't it more work to do this, or just make the jersey longer. Already the sides are blank in a triangle on the sides (for air to flow?) another stupid look.Comment

Re: 2016 jersey blank tucked-in bottom/side
pretty sure the new diaper part of the jerseys is meant to help keep the players cooler - it is a lighter and appears to be more breathable. the same material also goes up along the sides of the jerseys under the arms. looks terrible on pinstriped jerseys, really not too bad on regular jerseys.Comment

Re: 2016 jersey blank tucked-in bottom/side
God forbid the saggy pantsed generation ends up with an untucked jersey...maybe make players wear sizes that actually fit?Comment

Re: 2016 jersey blank tucked-in bottom/side
The purpose is to prevent swamp ass and vent. If you hold one its obvious the material is for venting as it runs the sides of the jersey to the arm pit as others have mentioned. All pants have rubber inside the waist band like basketball shorts have for years, so that's why you aren't seeing the tail come out after slides and divesAlways looking for Noah Syndergaard, Charlie Blackmon, Jordan Pacheco & Kenneth Faried items, thx!Comment

Re: 2016 jersey blank tucked-in bottom/side
I'm thinking if they reverted back to jerseys that fit more like uniforms and less like a Bea arthur moomoo then swamp ass is less likely to occur. These poor men are tucking 400 yards of fabric into their pants just to look coolComment
