Hi All,

I picked up some older Seahawks jerseys yesterday. This was one of them. Is this a 1980 Seahawks jersey of Bill Gregory? Gregory is listed as being 6'5 and 255 lbs. The jersey is tagged as being XL but it actually looks a good bit bigger in size to me anyway. There is no name on the back.

Thanks
Eric

According to Wikipedia's entry for the 1980 Seahawks, Gregory was, indeed #77, a DE and a starter.

It was fun digging in the bins. One guy was very pushy. Couldn't beat the price though.

I still have to go through mine. You just don't see Seahawks gamers from the 70's and 80's.

I've noticed the same thing but why is that? Is it because they were recycled as practice jerseys and then probably tossed when they were completely destroyed?

My buddy just got a call from the Renton Police Daprtment and spoke to Don at DJ's. Turns out all those Seahawks jerseys where stolen from the Seahawks lockers at their storage facility. I will be turning in my jerseys to the police. Too good to be true on this one. I should have known better.

I already notice a few sellers like bidoncoolstuff have taken theirs down along with a couple other sellers. Hopefully the police can recoup what they can.

I suggest anyone who bought these to call DJ'S and confirm. He can give you the appropriate info on returning these.

So be aware if you buy one off ebay that is dated from 2000, 2001 and some older ones you could be buying stolen merchandise.

I think I just bought one of these on Ebay. Seller: Leannchan

How do I confirm this.

That seller is one that was selling them. I would contact him and ask for a refund. Looks like he ended all his Seahawks stuff so he is well aware of the situation.

I do want to clear up one thing. NO ONE knew the jersey's where stolen.

Update*

Seller has refunded the money and luckily had not sent the jersey. Seller will be turning the jerseys into the police. It's ashame that this has happened.
