players salary question??

im doing a paper on minor leaguers in the 1909-10 era and the professor thinks that player salaries would be erxcellent to include. so my question is, what was the average minor leaguers salary for those years? would it be weekly, monthly or seasonally?

i read somewhere that the minor leaguer's salary in that era had a sigle player salary cap between $700-$900 depending on player per season. you would have to investigate in depth to get actual individual player you can go to www.baseballfever.com (http://www.baseballfever.com) this will give you a starting point.

Contact the Baseball Hall of Fame Giamatti Library. They have the most extensive contract records including minor league contract cards. They're pretty good about responses too. Good luck.
