I'm not contacting somebody who has cropped getty images to be sure that the Reebok logo on the sleeves does not show. Pretty deliberate.

I'm no jersey expert but real game jerseys don't say "X-Large" on them do they? I thought they always had a size #.

I could not resist asking about the Reebok logos on the sleeves. I received the following:
"The manufacturer crests are placed by the organization. Ripon in New Berlin, WI manufacturers the jerseys and he teams are responsible for cowl tags, jock tags and crests. Each player has two jerseys made and this is the one that wasn't used. I paid over $500 for it 13 years ago and asked same question, hence reason you do not see the NFL shield on the neck. Should be there but don't know why. Hence the pictures. Thanks for question!"

The only NFL game jerseys I have ever seen with a Ripon label on the tail were a small number of 1999-2000 jerseys
issued for contracted to Puma (almost all Bengals). I've never seen a legitimate Patriots gamer with a Ripon tail tag from any year.

While I'm not saying this to help verify this item's status, I can say that there have been some Reebok throwback style gamers that did NOT carry the NFL neck shield. I'm not sure if this year/team/style is one of them without researching it, however.

Yes, in the getty photos it shows Brady's jersey does not have the NFL logo. But it does have the Reebok sleeve logos, unlike the one being offered.
