Did Nellie Fox ever use Adirondack bats?

I know Nellie Fox used L.S. bats most of his carear from the Vince Malta book I have but did he ever use Adirondack bats at any time and if so have you ever seen a picture on that? I know a guy that has one but not sure it is game used or issued or store model. Believe it is a 156B model. Thanks

I believe the bat in question is a forgery. The stamping on the knob doesn't appear to be the proper font or layout.
