Is this a Cal Ripken or Billy Ripken bat?

Hi Guys,

Hoping someone can help me with this bat. It looks like a Billy Ripken model bat from 86-89 but there is a number 8 on the knob. Could Cal have used one of his brothers bat or is someone trying to make this look like a Cal gamer?

it's definitely a Bill Ripken model bat that was most likely used by Cal Jr.
