ESM got that jersey directly from Guillen last year. I don't really think Guillen would give them a fake jersey. I'm surprised though to see that the auction ended at $272. They had another one of his jersey's a couple months ago end at $1000!

I saw the box that came in Direct from Guillen after the 2005 season with a few jerseys, caps, fielder's gloves, and tons of cleats and batting gloves and bats.

I purchased most of the premium items which included his HR bats and the jerseys I got were restitched with shorter length (clubhouse alteration) and a straight tail and a Set & Year tag.

The jersey you got if I remember was 1 of the 3 others that I didn't get and in my opinion you got a great deal. I would say it sold so cheap because it wasn't set/year tagged added to the fact that Guillen doesn't play for the Nats anymore.

I have purchased dozens of game used jerseys direct from the Nationals and I can tell you they had NO Guillen jerseys. Since Guillen was one of the star players on the 2005 roster along with Livan Hernandez they both went through quite a few jerseys.

WOAH!! I wasn't expecting that! Once I get some more money I'll definitly be getting back in touch with you about that bat. I already have the gloves that he wore during that homerun so the bat would be awesome to go with it.

lol well I just wanted to be certain. Kinda weird how a Guillen bat would sell for so much. I still hope though to get that bat from you someday.
