View Full Version : I may be distracted for a while because...

...my wife was hit by a postal truck while riding her bike on Thursday. She's in good spirits and is not in any life-threatening danger, but will be getting knee replacement surgery as a result of this in about 2 weeks. Given that, as well as having to take care of her and the majority of household matters for possibly several months, while I'm still gonna be checking and answering emails and taking items sent to me for authentication and shipping them back, the timetable will be slowed down due to the need to nurse Shirley back to health. So, if you email me or send something to me to inspect, allow me some extra time to respond, as my hobby activities will have to be undertaken around caring for Shirley. I hope you understand, and thanks.

I do a lot of running and biking. It's incredible how frequently I have close calls in crosswalks. They say to pretend like you're invisible, but even with that sometimes there is nothing you can do.

Drivers please remember to stop at the stop sign / white line and not deep into the sidewalk and crosswalk.

I pray for a speedy and complete recovery.

I appreciate the kind wishes, thoughts and prayers, both on here as well as on my email account and Facebook. She's home now, but the surgery has been moved up to a week from now instead of 2.
