I have not seen any posts about this that I remember. Over the summer of 2016 the National Baseball Hall of Fame had a very nice traveling exhibit that made stops around the country. Knowing that Ill probably never make it to Cooperstown I went to the exhibit while it was in Kansas City. I have been wanting to post my pictures but have not gotten around to it until now. I took pictures of nearly every display they had along with the information board that described the items.

Not everything is in exact order but hopefully everything is self explanatory between the information boards and the items. There were many awesome items from the history of baseball from 1886 through current day. Very historic bats from Ruth & Maris, Gloves and Jerseys from Iconic plays, Babe Ruth's last HR ball, even some Negro League items from the likes of Cool Papa Bell. Everything was behind glass and made it kind of hard to get great pictures of at times.

It was a great experience and I would encourage anyone to go if they do it again and you get a chance to go.

You can find additional information here: http://m.mlb.com/hall-of-fame-tour/

Here is a link to my pictures hope you enjoy these as much as I did when I took them. The first item is a Jackie Robinson hat that I did not get a picture of the information board to go with it:

If you were able to go then post your picture in this thread too.

Thanks for this post. I had visited Cooperstown many times when i lived out east, so I didn't attend this mobile version when it was in town. Glad you posted, I wondered how many items they brought, etc.

For anyone interested in visiting this first hand the tour is currently making the rounds. Check out http://m.mlb.com/hall-of-fame-tour for more details. I went in Kansas City and you can see the pictures in the initial post. Totally worth it especially if you can not make it to Cooperstown. Lots of incredible baseball history and all of them are historically important items and its all game used stuff. They will be in Round Rock, Tulsa, Albuquerque, Des Moines, and Omaha between now and the end of June 2017. I think I will be going again when it gets to Omaha.
