Glad to see my boy and absolute professional Matt Holiday find a landing spot with the bombers. Hard to believe my home town team couldn't find a spot at - I don't know - first base platoon/leader and mentor to this so called crop of young stars. He gladly would've stayed for 13 mil I am sure after 7 great years of being a Redbird. Can't say I am surprised though. The cardinals ownership is about as cheap and ruthless to their players as I've ever seen - new and old. I hope Holiday hits 30 hrs and has 100 RBI for the yanks as a part time 1B, part time DH amd FULL TIME CLASS ACT.
