Although my college allegiances are to Georgia and South Carolina, I applaud Clemson's outstanding team. Parity's good for any sport, and college dynasties get boring after a while; so new blood at the top is good. Besides our little state of South Carolina can claim two national titles this year, since Coastal Carolina won the 2016 College World Series in baseball.
In the "small world" department, our condo has a good view of the Clemson flag now flying over the State Capitol. The Coastal Carolina baseball team was the Grand Marshall in Columbia's big Christmas parade, which assembled within a block of our home.
