Hello Everyone,
We have recently received a number of inquires asking why we allow website links in member signatures given the forum rule prohibiting website promotion and advertising in forum posts. To be very honest, these inquires have made us realize our rule has been deficient in addressing this issue and has prompted us to amend the forum rule in this area. Please note that the forum rule now states:
No Advertising or Website Promotion. Please do not post any messages anywhere on this site that are primarily for the promotion or advertising of any website, forum, email address, business, multi-level marketing activity or other entity without prior approval from Game Used Universe. This includes messages in member signatures as well.
Thus, if your signature includes a link promoting another website, we are asking you to please remove the link as quickly as possible. If the links are not removed and members continue to use them in their posts they will be considered rule violations and subject to the administrative rules of the forum explained in the link below:
