The Red Sox have designated this coming June 23 as the day to hold a number retirement ceremony for David Ortiz.

Glad to hear it...very deserving. I understand he's going to work for the Sox in some yet-to-be-determined capacity. He'll be a good ambassador the the Sox and for the game.
