Hello Members an article posted of a New Style Spring Training Jerseys going to be used this season.

Fashion statement: The Yankees' Spring Training jerseys have a different look this season. The new uniform tops are V-neck pullovers with one button near the collar, and a pair of thick white stripes running down the sides.

I have heard the same news about Mets BPs for 2007. I think that once MLB took over the designs for the start of the 2003 season, they tried to keep them consistent across the board for all teams, and they have consistently changed styles every 2 yrs. As another 2 yrs have passed, it looks like it's time for another change.

The Mets clubhouse stores have recently begun to clean house on the 2006 leftovers. They were selling these across the board (star players, etc.) for 50% off each. When I asked why so cheap, they told me that they were getting ready for the new 2007 jerseys -- v-necks with 1 button. I am surprised MLB hasn't started promoting these yet...

TNT that is pretty cool and it actually will help to date those jerseys. As far as the 50% discount that im not surprised about they do that every year right before they go into the new season. I rememberd they did that last year and the year before.

I just saw a clip of them today practing in the Mew Jerseys and they are pretty cool looking (no pun intended) The Yankees Jerseys are very sleek looking now.
Heres the funny part thet have the hats to match!!!

The new Spring training hats have a white curved stripe along the side.

Why don't other teams do a pre-order service? I realize it's Steiner but can't other teams jump on board. Meigray is great for that with their hockey jerseys.

Can't find the link, but there is an article in our paper(Rochester, NY) that says New Era and MLB are switching to new caps this year. They are a sweat resistant poly blend, no more wool.
